Installed a set of LPP LTs and offroad Y - PICs and Video
I installed a set of LPP Stainless Long tubes a few weeks ago (they were "polished" but I spent about 20hrs really polishing them before the install.) The look and sound great. I have to say though the fit was pretty shitty...I had to notch the K-Member (a bunch) and even then the y-pipe wouldnt fit together like it was supposed to. I wound up having to load it up with open headers and carry it to an exhaust shop and have them bend the y-pipe some and weld it together to make it work. BUT it sounds and looks great now.

Yeah I have LPP's also and mine rub on the k member also. I haven't notched any away to prevent the rubbing but it only happens in reverse so it isn't to big of a deal. The Y pipe hanger is nice also. Be ready for them suckers to change color fast too.

YES...that's me!
Mine didnt rub...they HIT. Infact they wouldnt bolt up until it was notched...it wasnt even close.
Nope, stock mounts and it did hit. I used an old serpentine belt to make a bump stop between the body and y-pipe and it stopped it completely (it sounds ghetto but works perfect and you cant see it at all. With the car being lowered I needed just as much clearence under the car as possible to load and load it out of my trailer....so the closer to the body the better for me.
Well I figured I had cut and modded everything else on the car (including BFH to the wheel wells)...so why not. Actually all I had to bend was a support piece....NOT the floor board. Now its neat and tucked up like it should be with no vibrating or hitting!!!
