Stereo & Electronics - Trip meter resets/ headlights flicker and dash lights fad

Its annoying as hell. The car has no problem starting and has no power loss at all.. Runs great at idle.. Its just everytime i start my car the trip meter resets.. Usually after a 10 min break it will reset again when i start it. Also the headlights flicker every few seconds and when im idling and press the brake.. The dash lights fad in and out.

Whats going on? like i said it starts and runs great drives great..

alternator is going bad, change it before it leaves u stranded. or get it tested somewhere.

That's a classic symptom of a bad battery although the alternator could also be at fault. You can get both tested (usually for free) at most auto parts stores.

Fixed the problem. =D only $1.50.. The + cable bolt to the battery was completely stripped and backed out which caused all the problems.. Got a new bolt and it was all better. I was at kragen about to buy a new alternator and everything. Heh.
