Gen 5 Camaro Internal Engine Tech - The 2010 BLACK EDITION

Alright, well I am pondering of the thought of buying the one of the new camaros and I came across this. I haven't posted on here in awhile since I have been out of town working for 6 months.

I am sorry if this is a repost but I searched and couldn't find anything pertaining to this certain edition. I spoke with the dealership and they do offer this package as well.

It is a V-6 version but I believe can be upgraded to a V-8 as well. Before you start hatin on the V-6 I already have a bike and a procharged 02 ss for the HP category.

Saw that in Super CHevy I think. Looks good IMO. Love the BLACK emblem on the side.

I thought it was a special edition SEMA car, not something you could buy? I know you can get similar parts for one (wheels, gfx) but I didn't think you could get the whole package with the red halos, the logo, and other stuff.

I thought they were gonna offer it but I may be remembering it wrong.

Can't say for sure. That's what I heard last but that was also a long while ago when the Black was first shown.

as far as it being offered im not sure but how it looks? it looks awesome and if they offer this and i can add some red stripes to the top ill go down and sell my 01 SS the day i get back from iraq. lol

You can get those wheels and ground effects from the factory. As far as red halos, I dont even know if thats legal, but I would think you could change the led's to red. Im not sure though, but no theres not a package from GM that offers them. Remember when you order the optional wheels you still get the factory 20's with it.

Oh really? I didn't know that. Well for $4000 I guess it makes sense they give you both sets. Do the factory 20's still come with tires too or is it just the rims?

Tires too. Thats why there are so many of them for sale already with 0 miles. Common pricing rims and tires on ebay is about $1200-1500.
