The ms4 cam has more lift and doesn't require flycutting. I don't see why the giant wouldn't fit.

I would consider the Torquer v.2 also. It has one more degree of duration and alot less lift on the intake side. All that lift on the Torquer v.3 is hard on your valvetrain parts. Check out this thread comparing the the Tv.2 vs Tv.3.

Yeah, the Texas Giant cam is a stroker cam. I've got the TR version of the V3. Pulls hard, but like said before, it's hard on the valve train. Wouldn't put it in a DD car. You'll be replacing the intake spring every 10k miles. With it you will have to flycut if the heads are milled. You'll also have to worry about emissions in Cali if it's not just a track car.

Kind of apples and oranges between these two. What short-block are you running? Any valve relief? Like mentioned, the Giant is intended for larger than stock cubes typically.

Also, the MS4 isn't apples to apples with the Giant just because it has more lift....at max lift the piston is already well on its way back down the cylinder....duration plays a huge part in that discussion!

Let us know a bit more about your short-block and heads, and we can make an informed suggestion for your combo
