i broke the sensor on the back of the engine when i was taking my intake off, so i was wondering if it affects the computer at all of if it is just for the gauge?

On a 2000 Trans Am the computer won't care but I would definitely want to know should something go wrong.

reread post 4 and 5 over and over until you figure this out. Its a **** up lots of people make as the factory sending unit is super brittle.
