Gen 5 Camaro Internal Engine Tech - Anyone here running LTs + cats with stock mufflers?

Like the title says I'm curious if anyone kept the stock mufflers but has LTs and cats.

How much louder is this combo then stock? I'm tired of drone from my other car and looking for a quiet setup that flows well as I plan on adding a tvs2300 down the road... I think I've read in other threads that catbacks aren't picking up much power over the stock system but could be wrong about that.

I had the 1-7/8 lt and the stock cat back with out cats and it sounded good. No drone at all. I went to 3"x and Borla cat back with no tips loud but no drone. Added 5" tips and its so loud inside I hate it. I put a set of res. 4" tips and its good to go. I really like the sound of the stock cat back. I may change it back.

Nice that's what I like to hear. I was surprised how good the stock catback sounded inside. Much better than that shitty y-pipe setup on 4th gens...

Got any good times yet with your Camaro in it's current setup?

Check out the video on engineeredvictories.com under the project fugitive link. They have a video of a 2010 camaro with headers, cats, and stock mufflers. The resonators were removed.
