Default What Transmission for this setuo?

For DP set up, might do alum. 383 or iron block 409. Is there 4 speed trans that will handle the power? If not what will handle this power? What stall would you use? Would it be any streetable?

Thanks in advance.

for that kind of power (assuming 450+ rwhp and lots of tq) a built 4L60e will eventually fail. but that goes with all trannys. if you dont mind a th-400 that is the best to go. otherwise, expect to tear down the 4L60e. a built 200-4r will definately work but is big bucks in the end.

I have a TH400 with all the bells and whistles. PM me if you want more information and a list of parts, and prices you can expect to pay.
