Default A few questions... 5.3 into 98 Trans AM

What are the differences in the 5.3L from year to year? Is one better than others? ect....

Do I have to cut my K-member to get the 5.3L to fit in my 98 Trans AM?

I should be able to connect my ls1 computer to the 5.3 correct?

Thanks for the help guys!

The only oil pan that will fit is your f-body pan and yes your ls1 computer will work with your 5.3

I believe the 5.7 and 5.3 are the same size physically, so it should fit just as your 5.7 did.
