windshield wiper problem
I tried searching and to no avail have I found an answer.
when I first start my car in the morning and turn the wipers on to get the dew off I turn it to the first intermittent position and it works fine, I turn them off after I'm done with the first stretch of my commute, if I try to turn them back on in any position other than low or high they don't work.
after I make my morning coffee stop I can turn them on to any intermittent position and their fine until I turn them off or to low/high and it's back to only low and high working.
any Ideas???
Thanks in advance for your advice, thoughts and comments.

My wipers use to do that too. I took it to the dealership, they said that it was the board inside the wiper motor that was acting like a pissed off panda. They fixed it for around $80 and it worked more consistently after that; but...then they said that I would benefit from a new multi switch (turn signal/wiper control/cruise control switch) cause the connector or something was worn out...but it's been working pretty good for the better part of year since?!

sounds like the board to me. chevy is notorious for this problem. it happens to several of their model vehicles such as the silverado pickup. my dad has a silverado truck and his used to do that until he replaced that bs chip (board) on the wiper motor. he used to jiggle the wires that feed the board a lil bit when they wouldnt work until they started to work.
