Default How reliable are V's with mods.....

How reliable are 04 V's with mods after 50-60k miles? Especially with a cam.

I'm thinking there're not much different drivetrain wise than a F-body with a LS motor or am I way off.

Please guys I know there is a very mature crowd in here that's why I am asking.

Thanks in advance for your input.

If the mods are done right I don't see any reason to expect negative effects on reliability any more than a F-body.

If it was done right it should be as reliable as any other LSx series engine. I've got 50,000+ miles on my V with a supercharger and I have yet to have a problem.

These motors are rock solid and as like these guys said, as long as the mods were done correctly and standard maintenance has been done, they're very reliable.

I was wanting to mod mine too. i just picked up
an 07 yesterday, and I'm looking forward to
adding a few "go fast" parts.
