Default removing powder coating on rims

has any one done it my tt2 rims have been powder coated and i want them black and chrome as the tt2 are chrome any way i want to get the powder coating off the rim part with out damaging the chrome to much so i can polish it right up

have had a read up and some say use gasket remover any one have something better or easyer as long as it does not damage it to much as i have to polish it

FYI, TT2 rims are polished, not chrome. That may affect the type of prep you do.

thats a bit better as i dont have to worry about damaging the chrome

going to give the gasket remover a go see what it does
