Default 99 SS vacuum leak help!!!!!!

My 99 SS has had a vacuum leak since I have bought in Feb. The brake pedal was hard as a rock because booster was bad so I replaced it. When I hooked the vacuum line back up the car would not idle. The only way the car will run is with the line unhooked. I'm going to get the car tuned so I hope the can fix the idle problem. Can this leak be killing my rwhp? Any help on the fix would be appreciated. Thanks Lee

Was car tuned with the vac line unhooked? It should run better once line is hooked up. Did you check the vac line on back of intake?

I do not think the car was tuned with vacuum leak. But I think the car has "learned" the vacuum leak. Now when I hook the vacuum hose back up to the booster, it will stall. I'm taking the car to New Era on the 14 of August. I hope they can fix idle problem when the hose is hooked to the booster. Lee
