Default Clutch Questions?

Ok I am getting ready to put in a LS7 clutch package and Tick MC. But was wondering do I need to go ahead and do a new Slave, pilot & throw out bearing too? Also is the LS7 good or should I go a different route? THANKS

I drove a buddys car with LS7 and clutch felt way too soft....I love my Textralia....If your car has a lot of miles it would be a good idea to replace the slave, pilot & throw out bearing. Otherwise if you have a problem down the road you got to remove trans again.

There is no reason NOT to change out TOB/slave and PB while doing a new clutch. I know why you asked, and it is normal, but, yes, change 'em out while you have teh tranny out.

I would recommend changing those parts as well. Give me a call and I can get them for you.

I think those parts should always be changed when putting a new clutch in because its so aggravating when you dont and you run into a problem.I dont really hear anyone bragging on the ls7 clutches but its worth a try I guess. If you are going to stay with a single disc clutch go monster!but you didnt hear that from me!lol
