Default Ls1/LS7 crank bolt?

Ive been searching & searching,

what i'm trying to make sure of is that if I go buy a LS7 crank bolt(P/N 11570163) from the stealership today, I can use it to put my crank pulley back on my LS1. Ive read a few saying they use this bolt since its the longer LS1 bolt & bake the pulley, but want to make sure the part number is the rite one & the threads are the same before I drive an hour away, I know you can't part swap much on the LS7/LS1 is why I ask and i would like to get the car back together by the end of the day

I already tried the fastenal approach and the guy won't sell me just one bolt

I don't think they would be the same bolt since the LS7 Balancer is much shallower than the LS1 Balancer...I remember reading some posts not that long ago about baking a LS1 balancer to put it onto a LS2..I'll try to find it...

I dont know if there is any benefit to running an ls7 crank bolt over the ls1 even if it is longer i havent heard of anybody ever having a problem with ls1 crank bolt. So to be on the safe side i would just get an ls1 crank bolt.

i was not planning to run the LS7 bolt, but to just use it to install the pulley

i did go and buy one for 9 bucks and it worked perfect to press the pulley on then swap back to my new ls1 bolt, i would recommend it to anyone not wanting to pay higher prices or to not wait for shipping
