Guys and Gals,

Our Cold Air Induction kits are in stock and ready to ship, plenty of both Carbon Fiber finish and black ready to go.

Our conservative Dynojet showed +13 RWHP and +15 RWTQ. This is on the factory tune with NO OTHER CHANGES. Of course, there is more to be had with a tune but it is NOT REQUIRED to see noticeable benefit. There have been no Check Engine lights to date on any of the 75+ we've sold and they bolt right on to your stock car with zero issues and they seal great. See the install video here:

Once moving, within seconds the IAT is ambient. We've gotten many compliments on how well the box seals. We've done a ton of R&D on this design to ensure the kit is trouble free and shows noticeable gains with no other changes and that has been the case. If that doesn't answer your question, give us a ring at the shop.

For reference, the +13rwhp and +15rwtq was on a bone stock M6 (under 100 miles) car with ZERO other changes...and we do not have a happy dyno by any stretch.

Close - The stock air box temp drops fairly quick when you accerlate also. What I am trying to determine is all dyno pulls are made with the hood open and you pull in ambeint air. Close the hood after a dyno pull and let the CAI heat soak - then make another pull and see how fast the IAT drops and change in rwhp. This would be a good demonstration of it actual usage.

We did a ton of R&D and actually did dyno testing with the hood closed as well, as you rightly suggested. We saw almost as much gain (1.7hp difference) that way. The difference can be attributed to the fact that the blowers we use to move air into the engine bay and airbox simply don't do quite as well as driving down the road. On the road fresh air will be flowing into our air box and the shield in our kit blocks off 95+% of hot air from the engine bay. Rest assured, these kits work as advertised and cause no issues on a stock tune. Hope that answers your questions.

Wow. Very nice job integrating all of the stock equipment (maf/egr) into the intake. It looks like it could have come from the factory that way. On a side point, that stock intake is HUGE.
