Default 04 ctsv t56 in an fbody?

I am switching my car back to 6spd from a4 and found an 04 ctsv trans at an engine and trans core shop by my house. The guy is practically giving it away. Will this fit my 2000 ss? If it will work ill go pick it up tomorrow.

The bellhousing will fit the motor. The slave is setup for the CTSv hydraulics, will need some mods. The shorter input will require the LS6 pilot bearing in your crank. The shifter is a remote linkage setup, will take alot of adapting OR you have to swap to a GTO mainshift and LS1 tailhousing. If you don't swap, the driveshaft and Xmem will require extensive modification.

I converted one earlier this year, but the buyer dropped out and no one else has been interested..
