Default Wiring Troubles??

Hey everyone,

I'm having a problem with my friend's amplifier in that once everything is connected, the power light and protect light will both flash one after the other. What could be causing this problem? Thanks for the help.

What I would do is disconnect the speakers and turn on the amp. I that works hook up speakers one by one and you might have a bad speaker.

Get a hold of a DVM and test your power and ground for proper voltage.

check the troubleshooting guide for that amp...sounds like its trying to tell u sumthing...i would check to make sure ur B- isnt touching your REM or ur B+ sounds like a short to me. could have other problems aswell..i would check your basics then if that doesnt work...use your dmm to check for shorts or voltage drops etc.
