I DD my 01 SS with the 228R cam, have pacesetter longtubes, ORY, and Hooker catback. Runs awesome, have no problems and its really fun when you hit an on ramp or open stretch of road!

Soon here I will have my custom 394 stroker with a crazy large cam speced for a 300 shot. I will DD that as well.

Everyone has there idea of DD and toy cams so you will get lots of opinions here.

There's tons of guys on here daily driving camshafts of all sizes. How fun it is to drive on the street just depends on what your expecting from your camshaft. We've been working on some new camshafts with bellow 230 degrees of duration for guys who want awesome average power across the rpm band. Some guys want all out camshafts & look mostly at peak power above 5000 rpm. It all depends on what you want, and your goals!!
