Exclamation Pic of a 99 Trans Am ECU

I just bought a ECU and harness out of a 99 WS6 w/ a M6 so that I can replace my 98 harness. The deal went down a little weird to the point that I had to place a dispute with Paypal. Anyways, I was wondering if anyone had a pic of a 99 ECU so I could compare. Doc @ EFI said that they look completely different so that would be a good start in making sure that I got what I paid for.

Also if there are any other ways to tell if the harness & ecu is indeed from a 99 manual, please let me know

As for the seller, I did not get it from here, but the seller said he was a member here.

OK I finally got the batt on my digi charged enough to take some pics, lol. From what you posted Rob, it looks like I am good. Now as far as the RED and BLUE, I am assuming that you were talking about the connectors since they are, well.... Red and Blue

Thanks for the pic Bro!

Here are the pics of what I have:

****! I took another look at the pic and yeah now I see the differences. I guess I focused on the fins at first, but yeah, now I see it. Well I am glad I did not close my issue resolution with paypal. UnFucking Real!!!

Well got a hold of the seller and told him the situation. In the end he came through and refunded me my money. **** happens, but as long as the end result works out, I am cool!

Now I am again on the hunt for a 99+ engine harness and ecu

Thanks guys!

lol, I did not even realize that those were in the pic till you said something. I was like "Eddie?" then it popped out at me that he was in the background, lol.

Yeah man, Maiden is the ****! My fav band of all time. I have seen them 3 times at the MSG in NY, it seems the only time I go to NY is to see Maiden, lol. They just got finished playing for the first time here in Florida in 13+ years; the funny thing is Nicko lives in North Ft. Lauderdale, lol.

I had a chance to see them in Paris while I was there, but I was working for the DoD at the time and my time was too limited.

This last tour they were on is the biggest in history for any band. When they did Rock'n in Rio they broke the worlds record for having over 250,000 people at the show

They are STILL the GODs of Metal!!!

INFO FOR YA:
The 98 cars have e different wiring system than 99+ do.
you need the engine harness, the engine compartment harness and the body harness. can you rewire it to make it work yes, but its faster to replace the harnesses.
you can also re-pin out your 98 harness at the pcm end to work with a 99+ PCM.

No Problem man. I have a 98 as well, but mine originally came with a v6 and I swapped it over to a LS1, with no major issues. It was fun !
