Paint & Body Work - DA%M shelfs fell on my car!

Im sitting in my living room watching TV and I hear a NASTY smash and crash. I ran out into the garage thinking there would be a car accident in front of my house. Nope not today. Instead it was an 8 foot X 4 foot metal shelf falling on my car. :cry: I thought the worst but after an inspection and 20 mins I had the scratches pulled out.

The worst part is there is now a crack in the door pannel at the very back edge where the window meets the pannel. kinda in the corner. The crack is about half and inch long.

Anyone know what kind of work (fiberglassing, replacment) this is going to take and how much its going to cost me?

I would have pictures but customs smashed my camera on the way back from Iraq! :bang:

That's WHY I REFUSE to have shelves or anything else mounted on the wall or ceiling that might fall and hit my car.

ok after reading my title i would like to say i meant SHELVES..anyways its the car in the sig a 02 ws6. Looks like its about 1500 dollars damage according to statefarms estimate. oh well at least they are taking care of it.
