Default LS1 to LS2

If i buy LS2 heads or LS3 heads and cam and put it on my LS1 will it make it an LS2 or LS3

No, you still have an LS1 bottom end so it is still an LS1. The lS2's and LS3's have different blocks.

well youd have the parts of a c5 z06 minus the drive by wire. If you buy stock heads, go with the LS3 (or L92) heads with intake (has diff runners) that would be the best bang for the buck, IMO

An LS6 is just an LS1 bottom end with a different cam and different heads. You can just switch to those or a different aftermarket set up and pick up some power.
