Default bad vibration.. pinion seal culprit?

my pinion seal is leaking pretty bad. diff oil is topped off. it vibrates from about 45mph+ its a pretty severe vibration coming from the back of the car. the ujoints seemed to be okay. can the pinion seal cause the vibration? it vibrates regardless of whether its in gear or not.. seems to go away a little at 70+. tires are still good.

Pinion seal would be the victim (weeping when the
vibe kicks it off seat) but not the cause.

wheel weight fly off maybe? I have heard of people who have taken the drive shaft out of the car for whatever reason and placed it back in 180 degrees in the opposite direction and get a vibration, doesnt make any ****** sence to me. Or possible a bad pinion bearing. Check it out when you change the seal, it pops right out, check for score marks on the rollers and race

A leaking pinion seal is not the cause.

I would check the wheels for balance, driveshaft could be the cause and might need to be re-indexed if been removed, differential/bearings maybe, etc.
