Default B&M Ripper Shifter Length vs. Lou's Short Stick

I currently have a Lou's Short Stick on my factory shifter. I am thinking about upgrading to a B&M Ripper shifter but wanted to know the length of the shift lever relative to the Lou's Short Stick?

The reason I ask is that I have a custom made shift boot for the short stick and I want to make sure it will fit the B&M Ripper before I buy.

Thanks,
Eddie

I use the factory Hurst short shift with a Lou's short stick and I love it.

lous stick is pretty beefy. i think the b&m is not as tough. but i dont think the b&m is removeable. my pro 5.0 and lous ss have never given me a minute of issues.
