Be cautious. That hood is made by Mecham performance and people who had these hood types complain about very poor quality. One guy posted in the Apearance Section that the his hood was literaly falling apart.

Good Luck!

A friend of mine has this hood (had) and i guess it tore from the stock hindges (sp?) but that could also be a mistake by the body shop.

what a bunch of jurks!!!!
ok thise are emails to this company.
me:
i was wondering if you had info on the sports back hatch. i
am
very intrested and i also wanted to know if you have pictures of it on
a
firebird. rumor has it that past quality from your company has been
50/50
what is your policy if i recive a 'bad' one
thank you
kevin

resonable right?
there responce:

Kevin,

That is funny I have not heard that rumor. Especially considering that
I do
not manufacture any of the fiberglass products. I do not know how I
can be
responsible for a products quality that I do not make.

Let me know if I can help with anything else. Call 704-494-0005 if you
want
to place an order! Please note that prices do not include shipping
unless
otherwise stated.

so basically it was a wast of time emailing this person... why would i shell out $800+ for a product that has no garentee and i dont even know how it will look on my car. i emailed them back asking if they couldent answer my question would they please put me in contact with some one who could..... this is really beginning to **** me off i hate companys that blow off your questions. ill let you guys know what happens.

Notch Back? NO. He asked about the hood, So I stated about the quality of the HOOD not the Notch Back. The notch back you are referring to is made by www.rksport.com. I have not heard any negative quality issues about RKsport. Little pricey though.

i inquired about the hatch thinkin that they were both produced by the same people selling them at the sight... that still doesnt change the fact that these people that he was thiking about doing busness with are ****** and i higly recommend contacting the manufactuer directly about purchusing insted of going through these tools who will offer you no help if you have a probablem. ... i was just trying to help by pointing out my experences with these people. i thought that was understood when i started to talk about the hatch insted of the hood.
