Default Opinions on my planed build

Currently I have an 02 SS with a brand new (less than 1K miles) fully forged 347 with an MS4 and supporting mods. I have about 8K that I wasnt expecting to have that i plan on putting into my car. I was looking for max effort type parts and came up with this

Current Mods
Forged bottom end
MS4
Hardened push rods
Doulbe springs
melling oil pump
Full cattless TDs
built trans
strengthened rear

Looking to do
-PRC 215s with 60cc chambers
-Ported Fast 92 w/ 95mm PTM TB
-EWB
-UD puller
-LS7 lifters
-Yella Terras (1.7)
-Either TSP or Kooks 1 7/8 LTs to replace my rusting pacesetters
-Racetronics fuel pump kit with Walbro intake and whatever injectors needed
-As well as studding the heads and going with a SD tune

with leftover money/next paycheck i would also throw on possibly a 200-300 shot of direct port and then i would call it all a day

lemme know what you all think please!!

With your current bottom end and ms4, you add those heads and DP nitrous, that car will ******* scream! Sounds like a pretty stout set up you'll have!

thats the plan.

im hoping :fingers crossed / praying: 500to the tire NA and 800 on the spray? If not ill pull the MS4 out and go Trex or Vindicator or some other big cam that is better for nitrous, cuz my MS4 is on a 111 and i know its not exactly the best LSA for spray

Where did you get your forged 347 kit? Do you have any 1/4 mile times? Yet

the kit was pieced together by me and a neighbor who has built high performance SBC/BBC/LSX motors for 20+ years (obviously not LSXs for that long, but you get the idea)

the best ive manage so far in the 1/4 ws 12.1 but i couldnt get the car to 60' that night

When you get all that done post a video of a run. Sounds sweet. Wish I was where you are.

your plan sounds awesome. I want to have my engine rebuilt soon and I can't decide whether I want to do a forged 347 or if i should put the money up and do a 408.

i went 347 not 402/408 cuz you see more of the bigger cubes, and its alot funner to spin 7K+ rpms and drive away from things than it is the 6K it is 408 ive always thought. the 408s make a little more power, but i never felt it was enough with the right set up to make too much of a difference

Sounds like a sweet setup. If money isn't an issue, why not swap heads for some mamofied afr 205s or a set of tfs 215s. That would put you at or close to that 500 na mark.

its not so much that money isnt an issue, i just have a litle bit to **** away and already ahve the rest of the car set up for alot of power. I never thought the tfs 215s would net more power than the PRC, espicially with the PRC/MS4 combo having the top end world record right now. Last i checked the mamo'ed 205s are approaching 4Gs, which is half my budget and just a bit too much

That combo should run out pretty good. Check out some of the lg g5x3 with tfs 215. The g5 is very similar to the ms4, could give you a good bearing on what the differences are between the two heads. Either way you go, post some vids of the beast once you get her going.

U may want to look into a 9" and a OZ 700 Textrilla clutch to handle all that newfound power or KABOOM!!!! Get a SSRA while your at it too and a maybe look into a kooks ory with a flowmaster merge into a nice 3-4" cat-back with a cut-out instead of tru duals. I know pat g's exhaust setup is something very similar to what I mentioned and it PERFORMS!

The more ive been thinking the more i have started looking at possibly AFRs but i think id still rather go PRC over TFS anyone got AFRs wth a big cam and can speak from experiance. Im worried about PTV clearance because i know you need an aftermarket casting to be safe with the lift on my car.

im not going to ditch the duals 1 i love they way they sound and 2 i literally swapped from a 3" catless y to 3" cat back to my 3" under the axle duals on the dyno and made back to back runs and saw the extra power from the X pipe so the duals are staying.

I have a 9" already and i have a centerforce clutch that will more than handle the power, and as far as induction i have a custom raim air setup with a sd tune, no worries about SSRA/FTRA/Lid or any of that **** for me
