guys it's been a while since i have posted on here.my problem is my new car........i swapped my engine and trans from my 3rd gen camaro to a 94 z/28.i can't seem to launch this car good......my other car would pull the front wheels with lil effort ,while this car just levels out off the line and has a sucky 60 ft.....here are the specs.
383 carbed sbc
turbo 350 trans with tci super streetfighter converter....3400 to 3800......
jegster torque arm
lakewood lcas
comp engineering drag shocks rear
kyb agx shocks front
comp eng sfcs
3.73 gears
hoosier 28x10 slicks.
old car was a 92 camaro with stock struts,comp eng rear shocks.lakewood lcas,spohn torque arm.m/t street radials
any help would be appreciated..........oh yeah pinion angle is set to -3 degrees.......same as old car setup

Are you having any wheel hoping issues or anything along that line? If not sounds like you are just having a weight transfer problem. I would look into getting a new front adjustable strut. And possibly a set of lower control arm relocation brackets to assist on your launch. Each vehicle is different and they can be temperamental......lol. my 60 foot was 1.62 to 1.67...........i am investingh in some brackets this weekend.........i forgot the 3rd and 4th gen fbodies were totally different....lol...

i had been debating on the brackets for a while,it just slipped my mind..............thanks guys........over the winter break,from racing i will be looking at getting a tubular kmember for the sbc conversion too........
