Default A few ?s for anyone that has successfuly did an A4 to M6 swap.

i have an M6 car and I am thinking of doing an A4 swap. The other car is local so parts access is no big deal. Eveything seems pretty staight forward but I'm curious on what has to be done wiring-wise. Does the whole PCM harness need to be swapped? Also what about the under dash stuff for the clutch starter interlock switch and the cruise? Both cars have LS1edit so I assume we could swap PCMs also even though the VIN is different. I have access to a tech II, is it possible to flash my PCM to an auto and vice-versa using the correct VINs or is it easier just to swap PCMs?

I have no problem doing the wiring, just wondering if the A4 and M6 cars have different sub harnesses under the dash or is it a part of the ECM harness?

Also does the floor need to be cut for the M6 shifter on the A4 car its getting swapped into?

I searched on this and found some conflicting info - just wondering..
