Default SES light = Knock Sensor... does it matter?

My car is throwing the SES for the Knock sensor - no imput bank 1 or something like that. I don' feel like pulling the intake off to fix them, so is it really going to hurt any if I don't replace the knock sensor? I mean, the car runs fine, I always use at least 92 or better. I am running the Predator, so I don't know if that might be bumping the timing up too much. Thanks for any help.

Like I said, it's not running any different. The last time it threw this code was before I installed the Predator. I just beat on the car a lot and it went out, so I don't know...
