Default LT1 on juice

I recently picked up an old 93 lt1 firebird and I want to spray it. What should I do to make it semi - reliable ? I was thinking about spraying a 100 shot but I am open to suggestions. Does anyone think this motor is to old and tired for spray?

1993 Formula Firebird a4
lt1 350 with 127k miles.
Oil pressure at Idle 30-35 when hot
Mods- Long tubes, ORY, Flowmaster

I am a nitrous newb so any help is appreciated.

I have an LT1 with 126k and im spraying with no problem so far. I bought nitro dave's plate kit which comes with everything you need to have a safe kit. It comes with fuel pressure safety switch, window switch, bottle heater, all lines, solenoids etc, bottle, purge, filter, blow down tube, and the correct plugs. I also bought an msd digital 6 box to retard timing. This is not a must though, but never a bad idea. Also your stock fuel pump will probably not live long with nos so buy a racetronix one. Hope this helps

It will do fine on a 100 shot poeple are spraying with many more miles than that on there car. Hell if it's just your play car put a 175 on it and have some fun. Just put all the saftey equipment/upgrades to run it.

Both plates will work with the stock throttle body. I have the 52mm plate with a stock tb. The plate kit with 150 shot took 2 seconds off my et and 14mph

I think I will spray a 100 shot at first to see how it does. If it blows up, its only going to be rebuilt bigger and better so what the hell right ?

Your Lt1 should be fine on the bottle, of course it does depend on the condition of the internal organs since N2O does put more stress on the rotating assembly. I have seen motors with more mileage on them than yours last on the spray and i have seen motors with 1/3 the amount get destroyed.......
My 6spd Z in avitar was a consistant 14.1- 14.2 yeah vegas heat sux! 2.5" y-pipe no cats welfare cai no tune and worn out DRs 12.26 @ 115 on a 150 shot.now i am full bolt on and gonna use a 150 shot again in Oct

A friends 94coupe m6 full bolt on w/ tune 13.3 @106 and 150shot brought him to 11.3@117
so spray on bro!

You'll be just fine with a 100 shot. I would look into a Mallory 685 box though. Window switch, timing retarder, and two step built in. Taking out timing is always a safe thing to do and keep the motor from detonating.

If you got the Nitro Daves kit you got a good quality kit. I would not be worried at all about putting a 100 shot through that plate on a 126K mile LT1. Just don't get greedy, that's when stuff will start breaking.
