Default 97 t-56 shift **** removal

i can't get this damn thing off


i have the shift stick off the car so it's the stick, boot, and ****, and i cannot for the life of me get this damn thing off...

what the hell?

Get a good grip on it and loosen the Nut below the **** with a Crescent Wrench.

thats cute. I have 2 other shift ***** in the car and sometimes I would get ansty and switch them while driving. Current **** is a hurst T-handle. I find it livens the driving experience a little.
