Default Valve springs are kickin my butt

man i just gotta vent, I think the CTS-V is even tighter then the F-body on the sides of the engine bay...

I just wanted to share with you guys, that im gettin my butt kicked... in 2.5 hours i only got 6 springs done..

My tool seems like it isnt the best, my hand hurts like hell from turning the cheap **** at the top..... Im going to have a socket welded to the top of it tomoro so I can get a wrench on it.

Im kind of getting the hang of it though

Hope to finish tomoro and start her up

Also all my oil seals are brown . ( patriot gold kit )

Not black/ brown like ive read, thats normal right?

i like how the stock ones sit in there better but ill see how these go.

Hope its worth it to !

I used that same crap tool last time - heads were out of the car though. Next time I'm going to use this tool, supposed to be the best. Also does 2 at a time:

Yep that is the tool I used the springs were easy as pie. Mine was made by crane. They took a little time but not that long at all. I love that tool.
