Just picked up some seats from a friend of mine who had a couple of bucket seats (out of a Honda / Acura but not sure) that were collecting some dust.

Free seats; so I jumped on the deal since my driver's side seat a hole but the rails on the bottom of my newly acquired seats do not come off since they're studded on and the rails seem a bit wider than the stock seat rails.

Any ideas on how I am able to get the seat in? Anyone know a fabricator that might be able to help me out as well? I'm in Fullerton so the closer the better.

Drill/ grind the stud off

Grinding the studs / rivets off would remove the seat rail but fabricating a seat rail adaptor seems to be my problem.

Has anyone ran into a similar issue? Any tips / tricks? Anyone know a good fabricator that is willing to take on a challenge?

your pretty much going to run into the DIY with a big hammer opinion on seat rails, everone has their own bitch about them...

Gave the seat project a fair try but just kept running into different setbacks.

I would much rather pay someone to do a bangup job than me doing a half-assed job. Anyone know a place that can help me out?
