tire size question I have 2 almost brand tires in 255/40/17
my tire size on my ta right now is 275/40/17
has anyone used these size tires before?how will they look,I'm sure it won't look as nice as 275 and show more rim
just wondering if I can use them

You could use them, but the 255/40/17s are shorter (25" tall) so I would put them up front since the 275/40/17s are 25.66" tall. Also remember your ground clearance will also decrease by a little over 1/4".
Your rim width range for the 255/40/17 tire is 8.5" up to 10", so as long as your within that range your good!
