Default First time at the track with A4 SS

Went to carlsbad today to race for the first time in 3 years and the first time with an automatic.

run 1 13.136 @ 105.66
run 2 13.182 @ 105.15
run 3 13.269 @ 104.67
run 4 13.136 @ 106.06
run 5 13.136 @ 105.23
run 6 13.061 @ 105.92
run 7 13.017 @ 106.40

On runs 6 and 7 I raised the shift mph by 1 mph on the 1-2 and 2-3 shifts via Predator. If I could have run 1 more time I am confident I could have gotten a 12.99.I am very happy with these runs considering the few things i have done to the car.I have a Vig 3200 waiting to be installed and maybe a cut out.

Mods : FTRA,LID,PREDATOR,HOOSIER SLICKS on 15x7.5 convos.STOCK EXHAUST NO WEIGHT REDUCTION 230 # DRIVER

Wow,
Damn good times for Carlsbad. What were your 60' times on those runs. The best I ran there completely stock was a 13.875@102 w/2.306 60'. What was your ET and MPH on street tires? With the mods in sig I ran a 13.474@105.84 w/2.315 60' a couple of weeks ago. I need tires and a tune.

Danno, the first 5 runs were all 2.0 60's the last 2 were 1.981 and 1.974. Im not sure what it would do on street tires and I dont think its worth finding out.I learned my lesson with my last car at C-bad,drag radials wont even help you hook.It was so much better with the slicks, just heat them up and hammer the hell out of it. That being said you can still spin slicks if the pressure is too high at that track.

Get some slicks for your car and delete torque management and you should easily hit 12's
