Default Ls-7 compression

Whats your guys opinion on compression selection for a disc powered LS-7. Would you go high with less boost or low high boost combo. The car is 3700lbs with a 6 speed .I was hoping to get 7oo to 800 rwhp . Is this possible with the stock heads and cam? I guess meth would be a good idea as well.Any input on this would be greatly appreciated. I am chomping at the bit to get going on this. Thanks

I am in the same situation. I am leaning toward high compression and low boost, something around 5-7 pounds. I know of people running around 11:1 making almost 700 hp with stock bottom end.

Low compression with high boost will be easier to tune etc. No reason to go with high compression if you have the choice i.e. don't already own the motor.
