Default Any users of MSD starters on a APS F bodys

Has anybody installed a MSD starter on there F body APS set up?I wrapped mine in a heat blanket before i installed my kit because i didnt like that sharp *** blood gushing shield that came with the kit LOL Anyways, after dropping my K member to install my new LG turbos i noticed it was burning it pretty good.Im just wondering if the MSD will give me a little more clearance between the turbo and the starter solinoid ?

I got the new msd starter but its not installed yet Barnat. I dont think its much thinner maybe just shorter. I think will use the aps heat shield still. Should maybe have got the tci if its smaller but whatever.

I'd like to know when you get that thing installed how it works out. Right now my starter is making contact with the turbo.... I need to do something eventually but am not sure of what starter to order.

Default Hea man! LOL

I kinda like this TCI starter ! I just need to clock it at 11 or 12 O clock,? Because mine now (the silinoid) is at maybe sitting at 10 O clock? and is very close to the exhaust turbo housing if not touching,so even at 11 O clock should give me atleast 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch more clearance??and my exhaust turbo housings are heat coated too, so ide be fine ide say with this TCI clockable starter.
Good post Conan the man! LOL thanks for the site too
