Default Top Bolt on bell housing Help

I am in the process of installing my new PerformaBuilt 4L60E T3 trans into my '02 Camaro. The top bolt or #7 bolt on Bell Housing is kicking my butt.

Yes, I am a rookie.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to reach this bolt?

Tried tipping engine up and down without success.

I used an extension that put the ratchet behind the tailshaft of the trans.

I had my intake off while I did mine and I could reach the bolt from the top. But usually you have to use a swivel thing and a really long extension.

some guys remove the intake. just some swivels and extensions should work. When you go to bolt everything back, just leave that bolt off. Since you will be removing that trans at least 3-4 more times in the next few months to come

Badazz 97,

I do not know if I want to know why I will be removing this transmission several times in the next few months. But lay it on me. I need to know.

Also drove the car and applied the brake very lightly and I could not feel any difference with the stall. Looks like I need to food with the tune some more.

All 3/8" drive. Use a 13mm shallow socket with a separate universal extension. Use that with at least a 24" extension. If you get the integrated socket and universal it doesn't provide enough articulation. The top bolt in these cars is cake compared to transmissions in other makes.
