Default Ordering a monster lvl 3.. Billet or Chromoly??

For drag race and street use do I want a billet or chromoly flywheel? Seems like I have heard the billet would be better bc of the extra weight, but just want to see what you guys think..

From what I understand the billet one will be better if your going to launch it hard at the track but everyone has there own opinion. Me im going with the lightweight one since I DD mine and dont track it much.

chromemoly.

if you call them and ask (i did) they will more than likely recommend the chromemoly. the steel one is more intended for the heavier cars that need the extra momentum.

For track AND street, I like Billet Steel.

If street only (or @ 90% or more street) I like Chromoly

For cars OVER 3500 Lbs, I like Billet steel

But, if car sees quite a bit of track duty, WITH sticky tires, I like Billet Steel.

Just have to ask yourself, how much track time will she REALLY see? And make sure you are honest with yourself.

Well If I'm being honest it is probably 90% or more street driven, BUT when I go to the track I want to be able to put down the best ET possible.. no compromises.. That being said is the billet drivability significantly worse? My car is probably around 32-3300, as I have taken some weight out..
