Sorry folks, but if I were looking to drop 50k on a performance vehicle, I would find it hard to pick a GT500 over a new C6 or a lightly used C6 Z06. Surely I'm not alone in thinking this.

Take that blower off the Shelby, bolt it on the SS and see what the performance spread is between the two.

Well said Texas. Buy the SS and still have 15k to spare. Spend the 15k and see who comes out on top then.. Funny they didn't even mention the Challenger at the end.

I still don't understand how chrysler determines the prices of their vehicles.
$45k for an SRT8 Challenger? Where does all that money go?

That puts things into perspective for me.

Keep my z for go straight speed.
Tune the Cobalt to keep up in straight line because it tears all those up in the slalom and skid......(0.92g and 70.0 mph)

Nowhere in the near future would I have 50k to blow on those!!
