just rev it up to X RPM and slip it out? I dont have much experience(by much i mean zero) racing manuals. Also when I shift from 1-2 and 2-3 do i rev it up in between gears and slip it in also. Or just let off, shift, back on it?

When you hit the 2nd stage light rev up to said rpm and hold it there. Soon as you see the 3rd yellow start coming out of the clutch pretty quickly. You should be fully engaged around the 60' mark, maybe a little before even. You can keep your foot on the floor when you shift if you like or you can pick it up. But just so you know I picked up a .10th and I think 2 mph by keeping the gas on the floor. You don't have to slip at all going into second or third tho. Just get that sucker into gear as quickly as your comfortable doing.
You want to stage in a high enough rpm so you don't bog coming out of the hole. It's just a process of trial and error. My lt liked 3k and this car likes 4. But good luck and keep us posted

I cut 1.7 60's with my 10 bolt and my 600rwhp last year many times. And I removed the 10 bolt from the car in favor of my 9" in working order. The key is slipping the clutch. I was holding the rpms up around 2500-3000 and slipping the clutch. Basicly not letting it comepletely out until the car was moving good. Worked very well. car went 10.5@135mph like that.

I have an auto with a 3k stall and trans built for some serious business. My rear is a 10 bolt with roughly 66k miles on it, I have done so far quite a few launches with street tires and about 11 hard launches with et streets on. Just bought some m/t's dr's and well lets just say she is whining now and hates me.
There are people who can make the 10 bolt last. This is my second one, and I am dumping it in favor of a 12 bolt. I say have fun until she breaks in the mean time save up for a 9 in or 12 bolt which ever tickles your fancy. 10 bolts will break I have people saying ohhh they are great blah blah blah, fact of the matter is tehy will break the more you race it, and even more so on a manual trans car cause you are shocking it everytime you launch.
