im new to f-body ls1 been reading on here few months now cant seem find answers other then choices
I live in cali emissions here suck. the town I live is so small cops here harass tuners all day & get state reff just over an intake lol
im not tryiing to get state reff & not pass so i gota keep it legal. I know there tons of these threads on what passes & what not. anything you do with modding you gota have a CARB # blah..blah..
NO im not gona find a shop that will pass me if I shoot him some pesos
yes i know this is gona be expensive set up & waste of money iam aware that im not gona gain much hp. but my question is im confused on which heads to go with

:AFR 205's (seems to be to only heads that have a CARB#) but its like little over $2k
i know texas speed has a h/c package

but will it pass cali state referee!
keep in mind iam going with a 224/114 cam (i dont know if i wana push it with a bigger cam like 228r/114) with a set JBA short tube headers (yes i know waste of money) i dont want a set of shorties that leak on me.
and will this set up run/flow right if I were to keep the stock cats!!!! i remember reading a recent thread bout some issues on ALL after market cats are illegal in cali
