I've got a 92 RS that I'm doing a 4th gen rear swap on and I want to upgrade the rear springs. I dont think I want to lower this car so I'm looking at used stock springs. So do the spring rates vary between the 4th gen Z28's and the SS's, or are they all the same? Or do convertibles have a stiffer rear spring? Also LMK if you have any springs you want to get rid of.

Z28's and SS have same shocks and springs unless it was a SLP car

Not true, although I don't know which ones have the different springs or not. SLP cars had different springs. But some SS's also had 1LE spec springs. Do a search on 1LE springs.. there is a few threads floating around that try to explain which models had what.

I have level 3 SLP rear springs off my 01 SS if your interested.

My z28 shock and spring has same casting # as my friends SS and WS6 had the same to. None were slp cars

Yeah, some SS's had the normal default springs and other models had the 1LE

thanks, wish I would have see that before I bought some SS springs. Im sure they arent SLP.
