Default H/C/I Z06 buring oil and blowing white smoke

My 02 Z06 with new H/C/I and forged bottom end is buring oil pretty fast and lots of white smoke comes out after I get on the gas hard..even when I stop at a light after getting on it there seems to be a lot of smoke. Any idea?
I did a search and found some info..but nothing with my setup.
Thanks!

Sometimes a blown head gasket will cause a lot of white smoke. Does your oil appear watered down? Have you done a system diagnostic? If so what codes did you have come up?

yeah..not steam for sure. It almost look like there is a fire coming out of my exhaust its so much. Its going to the shop tomorrow to see whats going in..it might just need a little work on the tune maybe..I hope.
Thanks!

ditto.. i say head gasket.. oil is blue or gray smoke, gas is black smoke. DONT drive it anymore until you figure what the problem is!!! its alot more expensive to replace a whole motor then something simple like a headgasket!!

Its diffinietly a HEAD GASKET.!!! Basically the white smoke is coming from the coolant and its going into the exhust thats why you burn white smoke all the time.!!

This is the exact problem I'm experiencing now. Do you get a big puff of smoke on startup sometimes? I ruled out headgasket since I'm burning oil, oil from an oil change was clean and not milky, and coolants levels are perfect.

It could be a couple different things but a head gasket will burn both if it's diffective. As for Oil it could be the rings, (it has a forged bottom end it may have not been properly built right or something),valve guides.

I had a friend back a while back forget to install a PCV check valve and it was just sucking in oil in the intake....going through like a quart every 500 miles...got that straightened out for him and he was good to go...could be something simply....just to confirm the heavy whitish smoke is on accel or decel or both?
