Please reply; need info. 8.8, 3.90, 28 spline

Is it possible to find a used, Ford 8.8, 3.90, 28 spline LSD assembly for a conversion. Have seen 31 spline, but not 28's. Appreciate any info. Thanks

I am not aware of any production vehicle with 3.90 gears (well, anything made in the last 10 years)

Ford 3.73's or 4.10's are the common option for the trucks and such. Mustangs getting 2.73-3.55's

If you do find one, a 28 spline & 31 spline ring gears & pinion are the same,They will enter change with each other. Not the carriers and axles , just the gears.
