Default Shiftlight Location

I've had a tach and shiftlight for a while now, and I am trying to figure out where to mount the light so it hits my eyes during the day. Steering column?? Anyone have it mounted anywhere more effective ?

Driver's side air conditioning vent in the center section.

The air conditioning vent works or I have my Harlan in the little vent in the drivers side A Pillar.

on the dash above the insterment cluster... right at eye level... um... thats if your as short as me

Lol, I'm more worried about the angle. It's at eye leven on the dash now, but just doesn't catch my eye.
