Subframe connector's question for the big boys
I'm in the process of starting my suspension mods. for my 2000 Z28 M6. This car will see alot of track time and some street driving. I'm completely confused with everything that's out there and the different types of sub frames what to use. The car will have LT headers with true duals that dump under the back seats. I don't know if I can use the 3-point because of the duals. I just need to make sure my connectors are going to clear everything and any bigger race suspension part I would add in the future. So what are you guys running with a full race suspension and really like ? All the choices are killing me with 3-point, boxed, tubular, and whatever else I might be missing lol. Just need some help and clarification from the big boys. I want to make sure I do this once and do it right. Thanks for the feedback guys, it's always much appreciated!

I'm leaning towards the 3-point's as long as you guys tell me they won't interfere with any future suspension plans. I'm still open to other suggestions and would listen to anything you guys had to say.

As said, if you have serious plans for the car (sub 9's) then the Wolfe sfc'c are very stout but they do require some surgery to the floor pan.
If you're handy with a welder and a few hand tools, why not make your own? I'm going to be finishing up these this weekend and should prove plenty stout enough for my intentions.

I have this. Tucks up real nice under the stock floor. Bolts on with only drilling 6 holes on each side. You don't even see it from the side of the car. Includes torque arm, subframe connectors with crossmember, lca, adjustable phb and driveshaft loop. I life in Katy and could possibly meet you in Bryan/College Station if you really wanted them.

here is a crappy pic of my Wolfe through the floor connectors, I also have spohn tubulars that were in before I decided to go the route Im going...
You can see the outriggers that tie into rockers and the spohn tubulars. The cage is tied into the outriggers, so no body plates. This is probably overkill but not only to they add rigidity, but also safety

Those wolfe connectors are awesome from what I hear but they are certainly a little more on the extreme side than lets say the 2 point mentioned already. There are several companies that make good 2 points, Steve here is one of them. I got a deal on some UMI boxed connectors and run those now. In hindsight, I would have gone with the tubular chromoly version. These boxed fockers are HEAVY, but do the job!
We have enough problems with ground side clearance with these cars, go with the 2 point.
