Can all LS6 intakes be used on a F-body?

Can all LS6 intakes be used on a F-body? I read that not all of the LS6 intakes are threaded for the throttle cable bracket on the f-bodies.
How do you guys work around this?
Can the intake be threaded if it is from a vette or GTO? I read there is a brass threaded insert in the f-body specific intake?

There are some early LS6 intakes from the '01-'02 Z06's without the threaded inserts. At some point once GM decided to eliminate the LS1 intake, all LS6 intakes came with the inserts.
