Exclamation LMR's Nitrous Firebird runs 8.64 @159mph!!
Larry and Edgar Cato's nitrous firebird ran 8.64, 8.67, and 8.7 yesterday. This car is an LSX 427ci, on drag radials with stock style suspension. All these passes were made on ONE kit. These passes were made in 100*+ houston summer weather. Enjoy!

What were the incrementals?

Is it gonna be in Memphis?

You guys had any trouble with the screws in the DR's? I was told not to do that because it could tear them up.... I'v already got the holes in my rims though and they look like **** without screws in them LOL.

is it just me or does the audio cut out when he's on the brake at 1:15 and then come back to him idling... wtf happened there?

Nice pass though, car is definitely moving out on 1 kit.

I staged the car and went up on the trans brake and the tree never came down. The starter was too busy taking a picture of the car that he did not activate the tree to drop.

It just has some out of the box allpro 255cc cathedral port heads. The funny thing is that I have built street cars with nastier engines.

LOL I would have been super pissed to burn up the trans due to the starter wanting to take a picture haha.
