Default worlds fastest auto awd dsm

video one of our buddies threw together of one of the cars out of our camp! i know this is a v8 place but some people appreciate anything fast! comments are appreciated as far as the editing and all goes as he is always looking for ways to make his videos better thanks

edit: for those that care jesse just picked up his first sponser (Thanks to IPT Transmissions) with this car we're all excited to see someone actually start helping him out rather then all the funds come from him!

Not bad. I wasn't aware that anyone made a built auto for DSM's.
Is it anymore reliable than a stick for one of those drivetrain eaters?

Nice vid. Fast car. Definitely deserves respect.

Man, I just can't get past my hatred for DSMs, though.

Nice, I don't think Shephard can even claim something like that.

believe what you may when the car was first put together when trying to get it lined out the fins laid over in the converter and had to have a new one done... and ever since then that is the same trans that had been in the car... and yes the trans gave out at the dsm shootout for no appartent reason, the good outcome of that happening is ipt trans picked him up as a sponser that is the first sponser jesse has recieved!

meh these cars dont have near as much money as people would think.. the key is doing it right the first time and not trying to skimp by on parts as with everything when dealing with cars

bullshit its a dsm you are eligible for breaking anything at anytime. if you dont agree the dsm gremlins will get you and no amount of knocking on wood will save you

If built with shitloads of money and no stock parts they can be reliable. They still suck to work on though, ask anyone who has changed a head gasket, timing belt or tranny in one.

I have a friend who had a 97 TSI with 30k worth of mods done to it. The car was set-up to run 10's reliably. When he took it to the track the best he could pull was a 12.2 at 120 something MPH. the tune was off big time on the car though. He liked the car but he said it sucked driving on the road. Fast DSM's are fun but they are money pits, and not good for street driving. He misses his TSI, but wants to get back into another v8 car.

If anyone wants pictures of his car, I have them.
