HELP.Whats This Knocking Sound (Video) didnt know were to put this.
Well i posted this on ls1gto but i thought i would post here to,
but my 05 gto is making a loud knocking sound. i wanted to know if anyone can tell me what it might be from this video,
cars a 05 gto a4 stock with just flowmasters mufflers with 51K miles on the car

sounds like either a severely collapsed lifter, or perhaps a rod bearing. With the screeching sound you can hear also along with the knock, im more inclinded to think its a rod. But hard to tell just from a video. You need to pinpoint if it is top end of the motor, or bottom end.
